Outside wrist twist, respecting the Elder
Gooseneck lock
Workout schedule fell off again; I let it. I intend to keep it off unless or until my left wrist feels better. I am, however, going for a one day on, one day off Gripmaster training schedule and using the splint copiously.
Respecting the Elder
We lost Will Elder. I'd not be the twisted person I am today if I didn't spend a lot of time reading MAD Magazine when I was far too young to really understand it, so it's a relevant event. I'm not sitting in a corner crying or anything.
Captain Lockheed & Nico
I spent yesterday night at the Velvet Underground, which was packed to the rafters because of many people wearing The Cure or I [heart] Robert shirts, who were there because of a concert of some sort. Did find
hermdelica, Alex, Devon, and
mystress who found only too late that they didn't have a coat check open.
Nico was supposed to sing a song on Captain Lockheed & the Starfighters but was advised not to, but not before the lyrics to the song were printed in album sleeves. Now we'll never know what it would have sounded like, because the song itself was omitted; no use trying to replace Nico.
